Concept solutions for the Croatian National Bank tender for coins

In 2021, the Croatian National Bank announced the open tender for the selection of the design of the national side of the Republic of Croatia on the euro and cent coins in circulation.

The following solutions for the reverse side of the euro coins were submitted: 2 euros with the geographical map and Croatian chequy in the background; 1 euro with the mink and Croatian chequy in the background; 50, 20 and 10 cents with Nikola Tesla and Croatian chequy in the background; 5, 2 and 1 cents with the Glagolitic alphabet and Croatian chequy in the background.
